I don't know why you keep mentioning this TNA manifesto, like it was the best thing since sliced bread yet they could not implement it. They could not implement Kibaki's vision 2030, recently they had big 4 agenda which they could not still implement.

You are like a branch that keeps voting for the axe and still gets the same result every time

Im talking from from experience not heresay. Loss making companies have a 10 year tax break. The accounting term for it is deferred tax asset on unutilised tax losses.

How does this answer my concern of where the youth will get funding for their businesses from?

Thats why I said that this time it is better because it is in the contistitution and not in a party manifesto.

Akina Uhuru wanahangaika about 2/3 gender rule because it is in the constitution. If the same clause was in the party manifesto word for word they wouldn't bother.
Yako ni gani from these here?

The bloated wage bill should not be looked at in simplistic terms of additional politicians but also the additional cost for their entourage i.e. entertainment/coordination budget, PA, body guards, office and office administrators, vehicle and drivers, researchers and other hanger-on. It's a slippery slope in terms of additional cost.

A referendum that focuses on
1. Spurring agriculture and food production, through directly funding and supervision of agriculture by the national government in partnership of the county.

2. Health: be reverted back to the national government, most counties are grappling with a crumbling health system, where the revenue from health is not re-invested in health but to other interests dear to the county government.

3. Higher threshold for representation, a constituency to comprise a minimum of 200,000 voters and a ward 50,000 voters.

4. Revision of the 2/3 gender rule: women are the majority voters if they can't vote for one of their own, so be it.

5. Mergers of counties: counties which are unable to sustain their own staff wage bill be abolished and merged, we are a developing country and cannot support leeches.

6. Disband the useless commission that only serves to reward the well connected. At the same time audit of state corporation, and close those that have no positive impact on the economy and society.

Giving tax breaks means the glass is half full. Those who will get funding from uwezo fund, banks, relatives etc will know the pressure to pay taxes is off them for a while.

What is the opposite of an imperial president? A lame duck president?
Not really, the current presidency is still powerful with Powers envisaged in the constitution. Lame duck props in when held at ransom by the people he has appointed.
So according to you, should we back to Moi days? If the current one with checks here and there still doesn't apply the rule of law, what about the imperial one?

Faith that once you pass the law majority of the youth will magically get funding?
So your opinion is we dont pass the law giving youth tax breaks?

Using your logic shouldn't we disband the right to housing from the constitution because not everybody will get housing?
