What Uhuru is doing has nothing in trying to improve the country. It won't end well. He is supposed to improve the current civil service but he has allowed it to be 'governed' by his family. Military men don't question, they are trained to follow orders, whatever they may be. He is basically running Kenya the way the colonial government managed Africans...using military men to the extent that even the first principals in most European schools were retired military men.
There's nothing to be happy about. It is a way of corrupting the army so that they don't ask him to leave as they did Moi.

Do you mean retired? Officers of the rank of Major and above keep their titles for life.

Is there a law that says that officers in active duty cannot be deployed in civil service? Someone give the specific act nijisomee.
