Well, had a pretty busy day driving around the city as I was off from work and so needed to take care of some
side hustles.
As always, I'm quite wry with the streets of Kanairo and so I always park my jalopies at Holy Family Basilica and as usual, I headed there but was confronted with such a crazy snarl up near Parliament and suspected that something was amiss.
After almost an hour of hustling and bustling, yours truly was on his way to River Road on foot, akala sandals well fitted when I encountered the most shocking of sights.

Happens that our very esteemed and considerate City Hall had an event that I barely know about and also give a rat's ass about and thus had cordoned off City Hall Way, therefore, creating a nightmare for the motorists of Nairobi that the said office and equally daft officials seek to serve.
Fuak!
Anyway, hao mafala hadi walikuwa wamefunga outbound traffic hapo High Court and this is on a damn weekday.
Shait..

I was so pissed and was hoping to get back home, relax and just forget about it but about half an hour ago as I'm diverting from Jogoo Road to Mombasa Road, the map shows that the fastest route is via Likoni Road which has been under construction for the longest time.. so I am happy to see a sign that the road is open. Wueh, Maina, let me tell you...
So I join the road and after a few hundred metres, there's a diversion that seems to lead to a dark alley of
No Man's Land.
