The constitution is shot, butchered, revived and shot again by gatheca every other week.

Right now even with his limited powers he is doing this because parliament is beholden to him. The Senate at least is 50/50. The Judiciary is our last resort but even then they will ignore it totally.

If Ruto was honest and principled as he wants us to believe, and doesn’t agree with either the policies or implementation thereof. he should be honourable enough to resign and critic from outside. You can not have your cake and eat it.

No organisation accommodate sabotage from within its ranks and everybody knows that saboteurs are the scum of the earth. Let people live lives demonstrating what they believe in and not engage in compromise for convenience sake.

That is a poor take. The office of the DP is independent. The 2010 constitution set it up that way because in every single government the Vice President was frustrated and eventually forced out.

Ruto doesn't have to resign nor should he because his position accords him plenty of security from these crooks who would most likely try and eliminate him.

Transparent and Accountable Leadership behoves that if you are not privy and part of Leadership you are opposed to and actually not in agreement with the direction the organisation is being taken, you ship out. Remaining there is hypocritical and self-serving.

Ruto is an employee just like you and me. Rule #1 of employment law is that you cannot coerce or force somebody to be your employee- that would be tantamount to slavery. But should an employee find that they are not comfortable or happy, they can freely leave. What is Ruto still doing in Government that he is opposed to? Busy in the feeding trough?
