On Sunday, June 26, 1994, at about 8:45, Dr Masinde, the Ford Kenya candidate for Mathare Constituency by-election was involved in a dreadful road accident on Ngong Road, near City Mortuary. Masinde had left his house in Woodley Estate together with his elder brother Richard and boarded a taxi at Adams Arcade. Dr Masinde was heading to Mathare for final preparation meeting ahead of the by-election on the next day,Monday.

That was his last movement before calamity struck, their vehicle collided head-on with an oncoming car, as another one rammed them from behind. The tragic incident became appeared fishy in all aspects and it is believed he was killed by powerful forces within mois KANU.
People voted for him while he was in the mortuary and be defeated kanu by a landslide.
He is the only member of parliament to be declared winner posthumously

Rev.Thomas Johnson Kalume was the first Clergyman to be elected Member of Parliament in Kenya in 1969. Malindi North Constutency (Magarini). Kalume was part of the team that composed Kenya's National Anthem. He is the one who wrote the words of the song.

Brigadier Isaac Malyamungu/ Isaac Lugonzo was the enforcer in chief during Idi Amin's atrocious regime. Malyamungu was an ethnic Kakwa just like Amin and was recruited possibly on Amin's orders. Malyamungu was a key player in the military coup that toppled Militon obote and brought Amin to power, he attacked Entebbe airport with his troops , killing two priests in the process and arresting airport guards. This really endeared him to Amin , he became the commander of the VIP protection unit, the elite Simba battalion and had a big say in the affairs of the intelligence agency, the state research Bureau under Amin . One of his most cruel antics was when he dismembered his home town mayor one Walugembe after an argument , he drove him into town , undressed him and cut off his genitals in public. Malyamungu was implicated in the killing of Kenya's independence hero Kungu Karumba who disappeared mysterious to date. It is said his wife owed Kubai and when he went for his money , an argument ensued and Malyamungu overheard and had Karumba killed and his body disposed. Malyamungu was one of the biggest beneficiary when Asians were chased away from Uganda, he was given 4 big shops in Kampala after the expulsion. Malyamungu declined cabinet appointments coz he believed that this being a military regime, power was exercised when one was in the army. During the 1976 Entebbe raid, he was forewarned by his juniors that intelligence reports in Kenya said Israel were planning a raid but a drunk Malyamungu dismissed only for Israel to strike the very same night . After the toppling of Amin's regime by TPDF in and allied rebels in 1979 ,he fled to Zaire where he became a business man but was poisoned and died in 1984

Kalonzo's wife is also a great woman. Heck, Watermelon himself is a good man but it happens that good just isn't good enough to try and make your mark on Kenya's political stage. Wacha ninyamaze
