This is exactly what I am calling disingenuous. The obvious conclusion here is high inflation. Inflation went up as a result of dollar oversupply during covid. The mitigation measures by the FED to mop up excess liquidity by raising interest rates cause yields to rise. The Ukraine-Russia war, equally caused and supported by the US, made impacted inflation further by disrupting supply chains. So, suggesting the war is what caused yields to rise, rather than what added to the issue is disingenuous. Yours is just a selective reading of the facts.

How come African countries were able to issue these many Eurobonds in 2021 in the middle of a pandemic yet only 3 were issued in 2022 when Ukraine war started?

The cheap covid money I am talking about. The very cause of monetary inflation. It wasn't until March 2022 that the FED started hiking rates to mop up excess liquidity making debt expensive. How come African countries were able to issue these many Eurobonds in 2021 in the middle of a pandemic yet only 3 were issued in 2022 when Ukraine war started?

We know that during Covid the US printed dollars and offered its citizens free money. It even caused a crypto rally, which was incredibly profitable for me. The consequence was high inflation numbers, thus the raising of interest rates to tame the inflation.Who did "quantitive easing"? Who has done "mopping up operations "

Hypocrisy in your arguments
You are rightFafanua chief. Economics is not my Forte... but I understand that printing money is bad for the economy. But I think that raising interest rates unfairly punishes the poor and midle class. Hebu soma hii unichanue.

Hypocrisy in your arguments
Follow the argument. I was asked why Kenya's Eurobond was cancelled. I said it's because of Ukraine war. Here's the source. Where's the hypocrisy?
You have changed your arguments to fit your current theory?
You changing your narrative to intentionally misleadI was asked a question about Kenya Eurobond, I answered it and brought evidence. Which part do you disagree with?

You changing your narrative to intentionally mislead
Which is why you are misleading saying this today and tomorrow contradicting yourselfThe narrative is consistent. Why did Kenya not issue Eurobonds in 2022? You can't change history but you can chose to see it in your own lenses.
Which is why you are misleading saying this today and tomorrow contradicting yourself
You are avoiding and diflecting the issue of inflation, but nakuelewaI said that Kenya didn't issue Eurobonds in 2022 because of Ukraine war. I have brought evidence from the government saying they didn't issue because of Ukraine war. What is misleading there?
