Kenya has never had debt obligations before JSKS came along?which debt did uhuru pay?
This is an old tired line you are famously known to use when you run out of ideas as you so often does. Get creative and insightful.Kenya needs to prove that it can collect more taxes to get a reprieve from imf amd get some additional debt too to enable it restructure or manage current problematic debts....it does not all go towards debt repayment but it helps with mamaging our situation
It seems you are too emotional to coherently put your point across
As is the norm, cost if living increased suring moi than the previous govt, it also increased again under kibaki and under uhuru and now under ruto....and it will also increase again after the next election.Haven't been to Central for a long time but I think the price of fuel in Central has increased by a big margin since Uhuru left. The price of electricity also I suspect is also way high in Central compared to when Uhuru left. Borrowers in Central are also being charged a high interest by the banks compared to Uhuru days. Prices of commodities have also gone high.
Am I right?
Jibu swali nimekuulizaKenya has never had debt obligations before JSKS came along?

we are increasingly coming out of debt distress, not out of the woods yet, but we are getting there
As you do your calculations also add in the billiona lost in fuel subsidies tooCost of during the former 4 presidents increased gradually during their tenure. For Ruto it has increased sharply.
For instance when Uhuru came to power fuel was 109bob. He exited when fuel was 159 bob. That's an average of 5 bob per year or 5% per year.
Ruto fuel has increased to 213 in 18 months. That's an average of 30 bob per year or 19%. Did your boss increase your salary by 19%?
As you do your calculations also add in the billiona lost in fuel subsidies too
You literally need to educate yourself first Mate. You are literally mistaken.JSKS is the first President to pay International and Local debts owed by the Kenyan State. Let’s clap for him.
Kenyatta I, Moi, Kibaki and Kenyatta II were naively being gratuitous to lenders.
I have literraly educated you on this thread, you should be thankful
This is a good sign
Just do your calculations and come backRuto is also subsidising fuel. Are you aware of that?
Where was this hype? There was hype that we are going to repay the Eurobond. Seems that's not the case
Where was this hype?
Just do your calculations and come back
How much of that includes subsidies?I've done mine that show 19% increase in one year. What do your calculations show?
So you are saying that kenya will default?Check your president's last state of the nation address and his interview with Bloomberg in June. He even said Kenya was to buy back $300m Eurobond last December which never happened
