Arrest of police officers.
Buruburu Police Station is holding four police officers who were soliciting bribes from licenced wines and spirits shops in Buruburu.
They are:
*PC DENNIS MURISYA
*PC WAMBUA NGUKU
*PC BEN WAFULA
*PC RAYMOND KIRUI.
Weekly protection fees are obligatory in the entire country for all W&S shops and entertainment venues.
Recently, I saw them drive into a big club in Nanyuki in an official Land Cruiser to collect. They sit for 5 minutes, are visited by the manager briefly, and they get up and go.
This silly quartet was trying to undercut the established collecting system.
