Masks Re-exported

Meria

Elder Lister
The Chinese authorities facing a serious shortage of masks, made an appeal to the Kenyan authorities for a re export of masks, to help combat the epidemic ravaging the country

Of course they cannot manufacture them as fast enough, to keep pace with the rising demand

The pharmacy and poisons board declined the appeal, noting that Kenya would need them should there be an outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic here in Kenya

A senior Kenyan government official vetoed the decision of the poisons board and the masks were flown back to China

Your government is your enemy and not Al Shabaab, as you may think

Meanwhile, don't despair, the government is praying for you

Ni hayo tu, kwa sasa.

I am sori but this story is pure crap. At any one time, how many face masks do you think are in stock in Kenya? I would guess in the low millions, one or two.

China would not be interested in this number - these are guys who build a hospital in two days. They would rather ratchet up production.

The fact that they say an unnamed gavament official ordered the re-exportation is a red flag for me. Been a spin doctor myself, so I know..........

Number two- What business did the Pharmacy and Poisons board have being consulted over whether they should be exported. The only agency concerned should have been KEMSA.
Another giveaway- They anticipated to be challenged to produce the Chinese Advertisement so they forestalled the question by saying it was online ...

You are totally right - PPB ONLY deals with medicines/drugs. Other medical consumables are regulated by KEBS and Kemsa. Tells you how fake that story is.
