China would not be interested in this number - these are guys who build a hospital in two days. They would rather ratchet up production.

The fact that they say an unnamed gavament official ordered the re-exportation is a red flag for me. Been a spin doctor myself, so I know..........

Nope you didn't nail it buddy. Any amount of masks is required in China, urgently.
Turkey has a garment factory supplying 5000 pieces a day to assist China.
I think you haven't been up to date on matters corona.
