Currently the civil servants enjoy the services offered by NHIF card and this how its supposed to offer to all ,I think they contribute ksh1700 per month
The general public contributions is supposed to be ksh 500 per month ( ksh6000 per year ) but few contribute. Remember you don't need health care every other day ,meaning your contributions as a civil servant ( rich person )will help the ordinary person down there when he / she seek health care services!
