Elgin ameamua no phones during back to school

Na mzazi je? If i found out that my son's phone imechapwa panel beating on the orders of the headmaster atalipia hiyo simu ama ni kesi.
The fact that the boy should not have it in school is irrelevant. The phone could have been confiscated, the boy suspended etc. But to take someone's property and break it like that is an offence.
We ni wale wa kuchuna mwalimu juu amechuna mtoi?
😁 😁
At the gate pocket money and the phone change hands.

tuseme junior amekuwa good boy hii holiday and for his birthday in July you bought him simu ya a Oppo for 30k. Now he has been called back to school suddenly and against his better reasoning, he has carried the phone to school.
Now the phone has been found and ndiyo hiyo inachapwa manyundo kaa sufuria ya mjengo.
Are you telling me you are ok with that?

Do you have a teenage kid, labda tunaongea kifaransa kitu huelewi our concerns.

I dont have a teenage kid. Lakini bado sijasikia anybody akiongea juu ya concerns hapa. What are these concerns?
Rules are rules and if you break them punishment should be swift and painful and a deterrence to other students who may think of sneaking phones in the school. Hizo simu ndio zinawapea ideas za kuiba mitihani.

Kuiba mitihani was happening long before phones were a thing so that isnt an excuse. As for the rest of your reply, those are not concerns.
If you find a teenager joyriding in his father's mkebe, you don't bulldoze the car to teach him a lesson about stealing cars.

Huko musingu national school wameamua hawataki masomo

These rules seem not to work at all for the longest time, our Fathers passed through the same, we followed the same path of Swift and severe achieving the same results we are trying so hard to run away from. Don't you think it is time to relook at our Rules that are creating rebellious kids?

The smashing of the phones was a stupid move, it didn't solve the problem but rather aggravated more hatred between the Kids and the Teachers and to more extent the Parents. Laws can be bent to allow phones in schools responsibly. Hata sisi hatukuzaliwa watu wazima, we were at one time Teenagers facing the same problems.
