If you want peace, minimize the amount of info you consume.
This advice is impossible to follow in this information age where information is thrust in your face everywhere you look. What you should be telling them is they be more discerning in their sources of information, to learn how to distinguish fake from real and not to forward any alarming piece of info they get without verifying.

Yesterday I overheard some guys discussing the misleading Cyprian video.
"Wah! Ata yule msichana walikuwa wanasema ameshikwa na corona amejitokeza akasema hajagonjeka. Hii serikali inatudanganya!"
I started thinking, surely, how much fake news from irresponsible media gets to people who do not have the ability to filter out the nonsense? Shouldn't there be measures taken against false news sources and people who propagate the uongo like Cyprian?

One of our biggest problems is that what to believe or question in determined by our political stand. we are ready to believe anything negative about the government if we do not support it. Heck, some people will even dismiss good commonsensical advice simply because it is the government they do not like suggesting it. Kenyans have become very stubborn due to siasa za pesa nane.

NURSES AT Mbagathi Hospital stage go-slow, cite lack of adequate coronavirus training and little support to protect their families.

President #Ramaphosa: Effective immediately, South African citizens are advised to refrain from all forms of travel to or through the European Union, United States, United Kingdom and other identified high-risk countries such as China, Iran and South Korea.

Hehehe the world is a cycle.

KQ FLIGHT 708 from Lusaka, Zambia, to Nairobi diverts to Arusha, Tanzania, following two unsuccessful landing attempts at JKIA.
Following the presidential directive that no flight from coronavirus inflected country to land in Kenya

Nurses at Mbagathi Hospital where isolation of suspected cases of Coronavirus takes place are on go slow over lack of inadequate training.

The nurses say they feel unsafe, neglected and unprepared in case they have to handle an infected person.

In my opinion, the government should have put in place measures to train all the nurses on how to handle the situation. The nurses have families that they have to take care of, it means they will not go home for days in case they handle an infected person. Are their families guaranteed of full protection?
