Wamatangi gets down to work

Keyword 'ATTEMPT'. Are we going to pretend serikal didn't try and subvert justice with the 4 commisioners and the security council?
As you criticise the 4 commissioners and praise Chebukati remember what you as a tangatanga is seeing as number 6 appears as number 9 to azimio. They can also enumerate how Chebukati subverted justice and of course you will disagree

I don't know why, but I have a feeling the current crop of gavanas will generally be much better than the last lot....Sakaja will be better than Sonko, Wamatangi better than Waititi, etc.

But I am not so sure of places like Laikipia or Nakuru where very effective administrators were sent home for being in the 'wrong' party...

Maybe they should stand on their hands so they can see the number correctly. Plus the rush of blood to their heads might help them think clearly.

Just because they accuse Chebukati doesn't mean they are right. The same Chebukati that gave Uhuru's Jubilee the win twice in 2017, should be the same one that gives Uhuru's Azimio the win in 2022.

The only ruling / guidance I'm waiting from the supreme court is on dissent / split within IEBC commissioners.

I think your analysis is a bit off.
Ruto was in charge of getting uhuru back to office in 2017. You may want to investigate that a bit further. Then you get the answer to your statement .

I don't understand the duplicity. On one hand, Ruto did not help Uhuru to win the election. On the other hand, he was in charge of Uhuru's reelection.

At one point, Chebukati is Wetangula's cousin. So why didn't his cousin help him win when he was in NASA? Others are claiming Ruto were working with Uhuru chini ya maji to beat Raila.

The truth, according to me, Raila's viral assault against our constitution have enabled us to build up enough immunity to the point that we have managed to fight off the adverse intentions of a desperate government machinery.

We saw police doing nothing as a guy was being chocked out by Azimio and a laptop stolen. Also when Chebukati and team were being beaten up before someone intervened.

You are giving one man too much credit. Maybe our independent institutions finally worked as intended.

I don't understand one bit of your argument

I will support Ruto's gavament 129 per cent, and prolly work for it sooner than later.

But I will remain convinced that the Baba-Mama ticket was the best choice for us from a nation-building point of view at this moment in time.

Except for a brief time after independence, the great Luo nation has been made to feel like outsiders in their own nation. Their heroes like Tom Mboya and Jaramogi were detained or killed. Their sons like Ochuka were hanged. Every time the police respond to Luo demos they use live bullets - no community has lost as many people to police bullets like the Luo.

Baba ferked up his campaign by surrounding himself with the usual loudmouths and promising Cabinet positions to criminals like Joho. His election would however have helped heal the festering wound of Luo Victimhood. And all we needed to do was give him his five years.

Now this wound could go on unhealed for decades, with terrible consequences. We lost an opportunity...

I would offer a different point of view. We are always adviced not to give a starving person a full plate of food. The shock to their system would kill them.

I take the same view with the Luo nation. It is true, they have suffered in terms of leadership. But the effect of Raila loosing has been more towards acceptance and the pacification of his supporters - at least what we can see.

Had Raila won, I believe they would have been radicalized. Their passions would have doubled and it would have been about leading in perpetuity by whatever means. It would have seen the 40 against 1 or 2(kalenjins) become a reality.

I totally disagree...
