After I saw an MP who over-performed in his constituency, brought so much development to the area, airlifted students on scholarships, went above and beyond and invested his own personal funds into improving lives for his constituents, having his home almost burnt down and things like water tanks he put up for his constituents being destroyed, all for being in the wrong political party in '07, I learnt Kenyans do not really want development.
I visited the place briefly recently and saw broken pipes that he had set up to supply water all those years ago, in dis-use, a monument of siasa mbaya maisha mbaya.
Kenyans cannot be helped, because they do not want to be helped. Let them learn themselves the hard way
