I have dual citizenship next time na vote huko hii ya huku ni jokes.

Anyway ukweli ni ati the NUP candidate was not going to win this one and my reasons are

Most of the youths in Uganda failed to register as voters

Uganda does not take the voter registration seriously you can imagine the biometric identification of voters has been there since 2011 but most of the registered voters don't have a document to prove they were registered as in if the kit fails there is no alternative to ascertain that indeed you're the voter

Bobi wine was not the right candidate to outsit kaguta, most senior citizens don't accept his way of life. I mean he used to brag how he was a ganja farmer and how he was above the law

The demographic that is eternally grateful to Muaeveni the liberator are still around (those who were teenagers then are around 50) and wouldn't want to take chances with unknowns.
Exactly, before museveni ugandans only knew popcorns that's how they used to call mlio wa risasi and after museveni they have been enjoying a peaceful life for 34 years
Still, it's baffling since the nation has three-quarters of its populace as youths. Lakini ile nchi haiko ready for revolution because hakuna njaa. Complex to explain but life there is very cheap..no stress. Ata Rwandans go over the weekend to Kampala to party since Kigali ni kama library baana... ama aje @Ssabasajja?

UG needs change but there are so many factors at stake and I don't think bobi is capable of handling all these things.
Fast and foremost it's a military state.
Being a military state things are run differently unlike so called democratic countries.
It was a good attempt to test how far their democracy has reached but it isn't the right time yet.
Lastly considering m7 took the country through the gun, transition may have to be through his goodwill. It's up to him to set the conditions for transition from him to the next person. Highly unlikely judging by his behavior, and his show of putting himself before the nation interests.

I think M7 is setting Himself up. He has torn all what is sacred, split blood with careless abandon, killed and maimed.

He answers to no court. He alone is the jury, the bar and the bench. One day the tables will turn. He will be at the receiving end.

The yard stock He has used against others will be used against Him and His family.

How are the families of former dictators faring in comparison to the attrocies they committed?
