Let me ask. Are you sure this is not another moguka base story?
So the SGR naivasha mwisho wa reli isn't anywhere near Kenya-tta Inc. ranch? You really think it's by chance that SGR was extended to Naivasha and got stuck there? That even S.Sudan are allocated land there? Kuna nitty gritties naweza kupea including a Levi jeans company.

even uganda have been given land there, nobody can go giving out gavament land if it was not their own private land that he is dishing out

LET'S DEAL WITH FACTS.

Give me empirical evidence that the milk is produced in Uganda. Like, the number of cows, the breed, regions producing milk in litres annually , number of coolers and milk processing factories and their capacity and stuff. 😁 😁

Otherwise, I'd take everything your frothing about as just rumours or perhaps you're just a newly hired hack earning his keep😁

Meanwhile try wrapping your mind around this report

2016 - Jan - dec - 3 million liters
2019 - jan - sep -110.7 million litres!!

What kind of Frankenstein cows are these that can increase production by 3000%?

"There is an evolving dairy sector trade war in East Africa underway, driven in part by the use of imported milk powders in the production of low cost reconstituted dairy products which are then traded regionally. With Kenyan dairy milk processors witnessing lower sales in Western Kenya which border Uganda (1), in December 2019, the Kenyan authorities sent a delegation to Uganda to verify if milk imports coming into Kenya were of Ugandan origin and did not originate in a third country (2).

This followed a sudden ‘surge in volumes of imported milk purportedly from Uganda’ and growing complaints from Kenyan dairy companies operating in the border region. Kenyan data suggested ‘milk imported from East African Community (EAC) member States hit 110.7 million litres between January and September from three million litres in 2016’, with most of these imports coming from Uganda. It was felt Uganda lacked the production capacity to generate such export volumes from domestic production (2)."
I have been trying to locate an article I read awhile ago on the Daily Nation, there was suspicion that the eggs we import from Uganda are actually produced in South Africa, UG is simply a front for some unscrupulous Kenyan traders

I was in the poultry sector when Kenya allowed eggs from UG, the flow of eggs from UG was not gradual, it was almost as if they had been keeping them stored somewhere awaiting authorisation to export to Kenya. Suddenly we had trailers heading to Nairobi creating an almighty oversupply of eggs, it was a vicious takeover!

Note that we reared our own birds so we handled both production and retail yet we couldn't keep up, in 2 months we had to divest, sold the birds, demolished the housing units, we let go of the rental unit we sold from, a viable business killed swiftly before the investors could breakeven.

I agree with you that this illegal trade is killing our businesses and farmers. The gavament needs to be more pro-active in preventing this, otherwise tuko kwa shida.

I cant find it but there's a star article on the same vein

I recall a report I read sometime back as I once worked for an organisation that routinely received trade reports and my former colleagues occasionally send them my way.
The report suggested that eggs were imported duty free from SA by Kenya government functionaries who then dumped in the market for super profits.

The real question to the likes of @Field Marshal is, how do you expect those Wangige farmers and dairy farmers to praise Uhuru for building roads while their children are starving???

In Marketing, one has to sell a good product or work to mitigate a lousy product, not by condemning the customer but by addressing the customer's concerns and mitigating where possible.

Uhuru has a few months to salvage his legacy and since Guka appears to be in the salvage business, 😁
I'd suggest that he tells the Princeling to drop the Njees and Murathes of this world and surround himself with thinkers who will come up with a handful of policies and projects that will quickly and sustainably transfer cash into the hands of the Hustlers.

I am putting the point across that land prices continue to increase exponentially making this critical factor of production impossible to acquire.
We can put this in a much simpler way. High land prices lead to high rents and high production costs- all of which contribute considerably to inflation and a weak currency. So, when you create a new millionaire from a land sale, the country pays through increased inflation and a weaker currency. Simply put, inflating land prices has the same effects as printing money.
