Ile shida iko ni when maji iko mob ,the pump doesn't work I suspect ni float switch .in such I am forced to pull the pump until at point where it starts to pump

Next time I am home I will find some help to pull the pump .The well is almost 45 metres deep and with non return valve the pipe is always filled with water so it's a 4 man job .

Not a bad idea. Itabidi kuchimbua trenches tena but it is more economical. Question is, since valves are prone to failure aren't they more suitable for above ground piping?

Si bh ni river iko downhill on a steep gradient about 60 degrees. You can imagine any equipment above ground is likely to be vandalized by the rascals living around the area. That is what I understand from mzee.

If that's the case the AirValve (s) will really help..he just needs to find a way of securing them
