I think I can confidently say its the first time @idi admin amejipata in a tough corner.
The only way to solve this is to come up with a way to handle such cases, a set of rules and processes that need to be followed for someone to be kicked out. Toeni ideas and hopefully admin will put them in practise for the sake of longterm kijiji survival

The ban was overturned. He is cooling his heels huko Kamchatka for a few days...

We cannot be held hostage by one individual who chooses to avoid basic rules of civilized discourse, i stand for the silent majority who want a place they can come to to learn and engage in upbuilding discussions, not name calling and ad hominem attacks.

Same thing that had been done to Guka for a petty offense but back then, no post was made. Seems admin has real beef with Ngima.
By the way once I suggested that the guys supporting the site should allow for a diverse section of team including sycophants as well as some of us watu wa streets. No feedback was given. One man controlling the senate is bound to abuse his authority. Stalin ata hakuwa mbaya hivyo jo

Diversity is welcomed but we must have boundaries, we can't accept name calling and vulgar speech in the name of diversity.

Yes, having an open record for foul play reports, moderator decisions on warnings, post edits, post deletions e.t.c can be a good start.
At the end it would also be prudent to have a council (can operate on an ad hoc basis) to determine punishments. You can tell from comments that the kelele was not caused by the decision itself, its how it was arrived at and whether it was single handedly taken

Well said. You have Solomonic wisdom. And that is why you are @admin. We respect your decision. If someone has an issue with the govt, they should not blame fellow forum members and call them names. They should take their grievances to the right offices not insulting fellow listers.

At first I thought it was a rash decision. But admin came out and said he had issued 4 warnings. Admin was fair! No need of a council since most members observe decorum where one warning is enough

Hata kule MCA there was Spear with his jubilee development threads. There are some who disagreed with him but I never saw people hurling derogatory words at him.
