Nilisoma mahali McDonalds is more of a real estate company than a fast food chain.

I've eaten from most fast food joints, KFC, McDonald's, burger King... Nothing to write home about, all processed food taste.
Nothing beats that home made burger or grilled chicken.
Kenyans don't know how tasty our food is, until you're stuck abroad eating gmo and frozen foods... Hizi fast foods ni harufu tu and obesity.
Ukipewa chance kula frequently, utachukia.
Kisha price wise, once they land in Kenya, they're no longer cheap as they can be abroad, hio no dreams.
They seem cheap abroad because money circulates and groceries are expensive as compared to fast food.

They will open if they see a potential market. They are businesspeople first and chefs second.

Right now, the market share ni ya Kenchic, Innscor, KFC, and Steers/Debonairs who somehow blew a very good headstart.

None of the above however have beaten nyamchom joints and kibanda which attract more customers than anyone else.
