Beyond the current floods, aren't most of us reliant on private solutions to public problems? We have the police but we also procure the services of security companies, in municipalities that should have services such as gargabe collection, street lighting etc.. don't citizens mostly rely on their own pockets? @zapp_brannigan just stated here that they had to build a bridge. Absolutely ridiculous to even think about.. It's insane how hapless people most Kenyans feel knowing the state and even devolved units aren't concerned with real issues affecting real people.
Don't even get me started on core needs such as education and health. Laughable, but Kenya doesn't even have public road transport.
