Kithure Kindiki goes down but not without a fight

The winning side. . . . What did your guy stand for? The guy you claim to have supported?

I answered this question here before but I don't mind doing it again. What drives me to vote for a particular candidate is his/her plan to address corruption and wastage. To me that's the biggest problem in the country. Address that and things like better healthcare, better infrastructure, better education, jobs for youth, unity among people, improved agriculture etc start falling into the right place.

In 2013 Uhuru had a very elaborate plan of this problem in his manifesto. In 2017 Ekuru had a good plan to address this. Better than everyone in the field then.

Hawa jamaa wa machinani nashindwa wako kwa ground gani.

This was Raila in Kiambu during his 2017 campaigns. Watu wakishinda wakisema about kwa ground should be reminded of this picture which was from kwa ground also.

Kumbuka the majority are always very silent. Kiambu is also very cosmopolitan. Raila ata aende Muranga attracts crowds . He is very good to listen to.
Point is, ata Uhuru akihit the ground running in his backyard, he will still attract big crowds but the convincing power ndio sasa anafaa kuchukua strategy because people will still listen but convincing ndio kibarua.

To be serious for a minute, you and who if I may ask ?
Si the tyranny of numbers is always behind him\his family\their presidential candidate at the ballot box ? Forget when Kibaki won against Uhuru since Mwai has been part of the political family since independence.
What about when he was rejected as MP in Gatundu 1997 and president 2002 ?

Mayeks don't forget that the voters will vote but the system will count.
You forget that the votes are counted at the constituency level, they may rig the presidential vote but they cannot not rig at the lower level. Whoever is rigged in won't have the numbers to run the house business.

I don't know why Uhuru lost the Gatundu seat and i am actually interested to hear from Klisters who are better placed to answer you. As for Kibaki, the presidency was kept within the same establishment that our current president comes from. In which case the 1997 loss was just a smokescreen from where I seat.

2007 elections- Kibaki got 43 MPs. Raila had 99 MPs. Kibaki still ran the business in the house.

You forget he had to reach across the aisle and get support form KANU 15 and Kalonzo's party 16 and other PNU allied parties😁
Right now ODM does not have the solid luhya and Kale vote as happened in 2007 while UK does not have centro votes, wacha tukutane kwa tepe!
