For 21yrs I stayed in South Africa, 2 years in Kwa Zulu Natal in Port Shepstone and 19yrs in Eastern Cape province Mount Frere to be exact. South Africa is my second home, many will call South Africans xenophobic but to me there are not. South Africans are the most friendly nationals that I've met, most accomodating and friendliest, the only problem with them; they have been pushed to a corner, imagine a situation where here at Wanyororo homekwetu every shop, every butchery, every liquor outlet, every pharmacy, mama mboga, kinyozi, salonist, every wholesaler, furniture shop, electronic vendors, drug barons ... absolutely ALMOST EVERYTHING is foreign owned? Yani your country is sold out to wangeni as you watch!!?? Some lessons in life are painfully expensive.
For many Kenyans in South Africa, the past few days have been filled with fear, uncertainty, and difficult decisions. No one leaves home expecting that one day they might have to run for safety.
To every Kenyan boarding a flight home, packing in haste, or wondering what tomorrow holds, this country still has a place for you.
Karibuni nyumbani.
🇰🇪
❤️

There is something special about home. It may not always be perfect, but it is the one place where your roots run deep, where your story began, and where hope can always be rebuilt.
As we pray for peace and stand with those affected, may this also remind all of us that wherever life takes us, never lose your connection to Kenya. Build something here. Plant your roots here. Own something here.
Because there is a different kind of peace that comes with knowing that no matter what happens anywhere in the world, there is a place in Kenya that is truly yours.
That is why I believe owning land is not just about investment. It is about identity. It is about security. It is about ensuring that whenever life calls you back home, you are coming back to what belongs to you.
To every Kenyan returning home, we welcome you with open arms. Karibuni nyumbani

Engui Hana akili, niliona ukienda nchi kama Canada ikiwa hujaenda na working visa you can't even help your host with any job even for free ile a Canadian citizen can get paid for

A society where men engage in crime and women resort to prostitution for quick cash, is a society grown to enjoy freebies.
This is what exactly is, wao wenyewe wamekuambia. Wewe unawatetea kama nani?

Im yet to see a kiuk shamba boy in nyanza and western provinces. Go figure
But you will find kiuks in gold mines in nyanza and western provinces. You don't expect farmhands where there is no commercial farming.
Alafu pia factories za wahindi central mostly used to employ labor from Nyanza and Western provinces, because locals did not find the pay attractive.

Good observation, lakini ujue izo za central locals wanazichangamkia na ni wamama na wanasustain watoto nazo. Meaning even though the pay is small, there are people still interested and are serving purpose.
Back to zulu nation. Tell me your thoughts on what that SA activist is saying, are SA people truly hardworking?
Why cant i see them colonize places like Naija/kenyans/waria/Asians do?
I've never met them live in clusters like the people I've mentioned.

Locals wa central wameanza kuchukua hizo jobs juzi tu. Otherwise, traditionally they would be attracting outsiders.
About the Zulus, wako kwao na hawana desperation ya kwenda kwa wenyewe. Watu huenda kwa wengine juu nyumbani hakukaliki. Huwezi kuja ku-squat kwa shamba yangu alafu nikikuuliza unaniambia ata mimi naweza enda ku-squat kwa shamba yako.

Why are you defending them that they're not lazy?
