Male lion was killed in Pakase, Kajiado West after it consumed a trapped zebra which was used as bait. The area villagers have been getting strange sounds of roaming lion with no action taken by KWS. The villagers made a strong trap to capture the big cat and finally they manage to kill it.

To be honest, I also saw a few antelope, topi, warthogs, nganga and a herd of rhinos in the distance. It was also great to drive between the imposing pillars of the SGR tracks.

Not KWS. It was frustrated residents of Kajiado, because KWS would not respond to their cries about a lion rampaging in the area.
Let's not forget that killing Simba was a traditional rite.
