go back to when they first invented airplanes. It is the engineer who came first, not the pilot. So the engineer build a plane that only he could pilot. it is not like he built the plane alafu akatafuta pilot baadaye. Somewhere along the line, some people decided that those aeronautical engineers should not be pilots, huoni kuna shida na education system hapo?

You need about 10 yrs of specialized training to master just one subsystem out of hundreds.How many lifetimes does a human have? It is for the same reason we have specialities in fields such as medicine and others. Your field of vision is the problem not the education system.

I think its a matter of time taken to train and certify, I believe they can fly but would they afford all those hours za experience to be certified by regulators

It depends with the issue, just like cars, there are different specialities.
There are the mechanical, the electrical engineers.
Since all planes are computerized, when there's an error, it comes up on the computer, kama gari these days.
Only difference is you cannot, repeat cannot fly out if an error is not cleared.

You are forgetting that we live in a digital where almost everything in an plane is digital. So most of them are largely tested on the ground digitally before it can be allowed to fly. If there is any problem the system will let the engineers know from the ground. plus again each part of the plane is tested for the efficiency before it is assembled.

The gaena did not create the vagina....the mechanical engineer did and can also build an airplane from scratch, they have that knowledge. That is why i am asking if that knowledge does not help them also fly that same plane they have or can create
