Justice Jairus Ngaah on Friday afternoon granted leave to Muchelule to file an application seeking to stop his prosecution.

She was under a lot of pressure from twittersphere to "say something" yet she couldn't be more forceful without appearing to be giving directions on a case yet to be filed. Remember the Judiciary is already carrying the baggage of stalling the Mwilu case.What's the message of this statement if it's not "playing safe"?
I read the same. By the same token, I expect some forceful rebuttal at some point. I believe by playing safe she wished to demonstrate her fidelity to due process of the law and she also wants to depart from the grandstanding of Maraga for a more consultative approach to problems. My thoughts.
