The little I know;
They are stretched to make mabati & welding plates.How much mabati they make depends on gauge of mabati.(si ukienda kununua mabati you ask for available gauges in mm)
It's a very lucrative industry controlled by people of Asian origin. So lucrative that it's hard or rare to find an ebony owned truck with a fixed coil-carrier trailer.
Not even a subcontract available for you Mr.Ebony.. 'Nahi chot-Ben'
*Rumour is, carrying 3 coils to Kampala earns you upto 3000$, 1000 Benjamin Franklins per coil wee niambie!
The smaller 4 coils lashed on a flatbed are around 6 tons each

These statements are racist and packed with malicious innuendo. The author ignores the fact that coil carrying is a niche business requiring specially adapted rigs with few customers that may not be looking for a new service provider (and knowing Mhindis most likely the transporter is their subsidiary!). A feasibility study by Mr Ebony might reveal he may acquire the rig but will have no customers so a disincentive for investment.

Wrong. Actually coil transport is the easiest and most profitable. Two, you do not need any special modifications to carry the coils. Three, there are many transporters who could do the work for less. And yes, those Indians will not give contracts beyond their circles.
