Yet another murder

Police in Makueni have arrested a man stabbed his mother and father to death at their home in Kwa Muiu village, Makueni County.

Makueni Police Commander Joseph Ole Napeiyan confirmed the incident saying the man aged 100 years and his 96-year-old wife were killed on Wednesday morning.

The suspect is reported to have attempted to commit suicide but was rescued and taken to hospital.

Police officers are at the scene.
