I wish I can believe them but truth is always hard to find whenever dealing with civil servants in Kenya.
What do you need to be given to believe? Tujikate vichwa tukuletee ndiyo uamini we work for you?

Ah, KFS is a different service altogether, no?I was telling you its possible

I cant believe words of a police officer,he is just trying to sanitise their tanished imageI wish I can believe them but truth is always hard to find whenever dealing with civil servants in Kenya.
That's an idea. What do you need to be given to believe? Tujikate vichwa tukuletee ndiyo uamini we work for you?
That's none of your business. How many years have you carried a gun?
You carry a gun so that you can protect the forest and YOUR OWN SELF. Having your hand cut by someone who wants to prove he is man enough to his kin is a stupid move. But a streaker like you who waves their penis, wouldn't get that.Loud silence from @Clemens . That's what I thought. A gun is not a penis that you wave in people's faces whenever you feel your masculinity is threatened.
My point is, if the kenya police force could use as much wisdom as this guy from Kenya Forest Service, we wouldn't be here condemning them every day. The police force don't even have to carry a gun to show how brutal and mindless they are.KFS is an armed formation.
He could have chosen to escalate. The rule is that if you as an officer feel threatened, you are allowed to use deadly force. It doesn't matter if the perpetrator is a minor.
Perhaps our forces ought to learn from the Sierra Leone situation when we had a lot of child soldiers.

This is not wisdom. If you take up a weapon against me, expect equal and proportionate response. You raise up a machete na niko na bunduki unakula copper. Would you be happy serving with an individual will to take actual bodily harm and stops your team from responding to physical violence? Why were those youths armed in the first place?
Guns are for killing. Fortunately the KFS Ranger understood that, and he understood that he didn't need to use deadly force to defuse the situation. I commend him for his methods. You carry a gun so that you can protect the forest and YOUR OWN SELF. Having your hand cut by someone who wants to prove he is man enough to his kin is a stupid move. It's commendable but a bad precedent, when you attack an officer with no repercussions, it opens up a trend. Let's wait and see I shall be proved right as days go by.Guns are for killing. And that's the difference between you and the KFS officer. He stopped his colleagues from shooting the morans, which would have easily turned into a massacre. That would have brought more scrutiny and condemnation from the public. However, those morans were armed and it is justified to defend yourself.
On the other hand, the kenya police don't even need someone to be armed. They don't need a reason to show Kenyans that they are barbaric, seeing how they've treated people over the last two and a half months.

Kabisa, hiyo bunduki siyo ya mapambo, it's for dealing with people who are like that.Mimi ukinikata unakula risasi, at least ya metacore ndiyo iwe funzo kwako na wenye nia kama zako.
Of the 52 people who died as a result of police violence, did any of them pick up a weapon against police officers? Did that child who was shot while playing on the balcony provoke the police in any way?Are police officers expected to deal with violence like that KFS officer. Are they supposed to 'turn the other cheek'?
