It's like when you hike up a hill, thinking you've got to the final peak, but after getting there you see an even higher peak that is more difficult to climb.
He thought the ultimate goal was to become president and from there it would be easy. He did not realize that that was just the first step to another very long and hard journey of being an actual leader.
As it is now, there's no vision, no plan, no direction, zero clue from the regime. Only short term goals that would normally be assigned to a junior administrator, political manoeuvring and plotting how to make personal wealth in the name of Kenya. Random cabinet reshuffling as if that can magically remove the spots from the leopard's skin.
But when they started murdering innocent Kenyans instead of fighting for them,I realized there's also no redemption for this regime. The political class now see Kenyans as their enemies as they have clearly demonstrated.
