Residents of Kimathi estate are appealing to the authorities as well as the management of Bishop Okoye Funeral Home to protect them from mourners who block their entry and exit from their houses, some even blocking people's gates and going away, leaving them stuck inside their compounds until the concerned come back to move their vehicles.

Some of these mourners are so stubborn to a point that they will make one to wait until they are released from the morgue, even if it takes hours, thus inconveniencing the residents who have nothing to do with the exercise.

This happens almost on a daily basis.

is this the Kimathi estate in Nairobi?? how was a funeral home granted license to operate inside a residential estate?? I schooled in Kimathi primary school back in the day and in eastlands, that school was the equivalent of St. Andrews Turi of today the estate itself was thee Runda of Eastlands. Memories manze.
