He is right, there is no wisdom in that kind of retaliation. It is not wise to subject yourself to someone's ego on you, they have sent a statement that they are the masters and we need them more. For instance if your promoter acts as a master and you a slave, it is not wise to go one on one about that issue, for you create the much sought platform for a fight of which they know you will lose most.
