Wazungu trying to collapse our economy.

They say when it rains, it pours. Imagine 100s of such cases that are undisclosed

Mr. Wamatangi, I watched your press conference as you sought to play political games with the serious accusations of corruption against your office and your government. And the more I watched it, the more infuriated I became, because I too, as am sure many others have, have been the victim of your government's unbelievable level of corruption. These kinds of cases have to be shown to the world, because we all deserve better. Serving in office is supposed to be about public service, but people like you have perverted holding office into a criminal cartel to shake down the public and investors. Since 2023, I have been trying to obtain county approvals for my plans to develop a piece of property in the county. My first shock was when I obtained two quotes for fees that were at least KSH 100,000 different approximately two weeks apart, without any variables changing. When I asked why I had received a different quote every time, and threatened to escalate the matter, I was told to pay the smaller invoice. It became clear to me that people in your government arbitrarily make up numbers and to extort the unsuspecting public. After this episode, and after paying for county approval services, I had to follow up on the case for 6 months. Everytime, I was told that there would be a "meeting" down the road to review the application. Eventually, I was told by two people who told me that have been "hand selected" by you work work in your government that my documents had been hidden by your own staff, because I had not bribed them. As such, I was told by these same "aides" of yours (one of which apparently is so proud of you that his Whatsapp profile is a picture of you) that I needed to pay them, "Waziri Salome", and a few other individuals in your office. The same lady mentioned by Tatu City investors. They demanded at least 40,000 and told me point blank nothing would be approved without this. Your crooks even had the audacity, the unmitigated gall, to tell me that I am being cheap, after shaking me down for KSH 40,000. After the payment, the documents magically appeared, approved. While I am angry that I have to be shaken down by a criminal cartel that you are running, there is an even sadder angle to this case. You see, I employed around 20 young men and women to help me with clearing the land and putting up the necessary perimeter wall in anticipation of the development. These young men and women, I will tell you, are recovering alcoholics, as they told me, driven to the vice by the lack of economic opportunities in the country and county. These individuals thanked me emotionally because I had offered them a chance to obtain employment, an opportunity they had not had in years, and they told me the jobs I gave them offered them hope of overcoming their addiction. While I offered them the opportunity to work for me as I start the development, those dreams, and potentially their recoveries, are held hostage by your greed and that of your cartel. This is the price that we are all paying because you have decided that your interests trump everyone else's. Because you have decided to use your office to enrich yourself illegally. You should be ashamed of yourself, but clearly you are incapable of feeling shame.
@EACC
as a victim of this criminal syndicate, I am demanding an investigation. I want to tell the EACC and DCI that I am willing to record a statement and share evidence supporting what am alleging here, so that you can be prosecuted, to serve the public
