three times in this life. I have never talked to him. And yes, in my village in Othaya Nyeri, I may be one of those who have met him the highest number of times. Many people there have never seen him in person. First was 27 June 2020 during a church Harambee at that Munyange village attended by the then darling of the village

Second time was 1st November 2020 still in my village during the burial of Ivy the girl who was murdered by a boy at Moi University.
The third was 22nd July 2022 at Wilson Airport. He was flying to Kirinyaga with Moses Kuria and I was flying to Nyamira county. I sat next to him in the VIP lobby but not even a handshake. I was his nightmare at that time. I have not met him since.
Kiruga Thuku once told me the reason I disliked Rigathi is because I have never interacted with him. I wonder what changed that I "liked" him and Kiruga disliked him. Alot of people are hurt very much by his impeachment especially in Nyeri County.
But the paradox is that many of them are Azimio and never voted for him. Infact, a whole lot of them would NEVER vote for him as president even in 2027 or ever. Actually they knew from day one that the marriage would not last. Yet they are still hurt by his removal.
Why? Not because he is a Kikuyu like them, as many of you have been thinking. Nop. (they were not hurt by removal of Moses Kuria). But because its Rigathi Gachagua. The question they are all asking is how Ruto can even have the audacity and moral qualifications to impeach Gachagua.
Majority of those hurt by removal of Rigathi, would have celebrated if he had been removed say by Gen Zs or even by opposition independent of Ruto. I dare say the people hurt by the impeachment would have celebrated had Gachagua gone to Zayuni, especially early last year. You remember how many times we prayed that Ruto does not expire soon, because a President Rigath! would have been a disaster for Kenya.
But they are hurt. They are hurt that of all people, Ruto could sponsor, facilitate and fully push for fake charges against Rigathi. Charges which fit Ruto better than they fit Riggy G. Can we compare the innocent Gachagua family business Olive Garden Hotel with Weston Hotel that sits square on public land? Are we talking of 22 innocent companies or should we talk of just one Insurance firm called Amaco that is a crime scene in itself?
We hail Rigathi for not resigning and allowing all his benefits to go up in smoke, for the sake of the truth. Yes he knew the consequences, Rigathi is not a novice. Some of you are thinking he is a young child. He chose to have his case judged in the court of public opinion.
He is a man. Having now already landed in Wamunyoro village, we leave him there. We now go back to the fishing expedition. We are Tekayo, for those who have read. Once you feed on a human liver, you cant stop. We must go back for more. The government does not eat one child it eats many. Who next and when next? God bless.
