Uber for trucks

Wadau, would you guys have interest in using an app like uber but for trucks or lorries? For example, if you needed sand transported to a location you can easily order or get a transporter to do the delivery? Or if you have a container arriving it would just be as easy as logging in and finding the next available and cost effective truck to deliver it to you

Can this idea work?

The big question is will the truck owners kubali such an arrangement .

I don’t see the need for such a service. Just look at online taxi platforms drivers are always complaining about how little they earn from companies like Bolt and Uber.

People will always complain about something, yet there are some who are actually making it work

I tried looking for such a solution and did not find one, kunayo unajua?
I have spotted several over the years but whose names I cannot recall. I found Sendy when researching the idea about a decade ago.
That said, the fact that none seems to have gained popularity could point to deficiencies in implementation, meaning there is something that still needs to be done right.
