Janet Wanja sadly succumbed to gallbladder cancer while undergoing treatment in the hospital, and the news has devastated Kenyans from all walks of life.
Wanja was not only a beloved Malkia Stikers player, but she was also a fitness trainer of the team that waved the Kenyans flag in many international competitions
When Kenyans first learnt about Wanja's diagnosis, they wanted to start helping, but the Kenya Pipeline Company decided that they were going to foot all her medical bills.
What happened to Wanja? Wanja was recently diagnosed with gallbladder cancer, and Kenyans were very concerned about her treatment. When the news of her diagnosis became public, messages of support started pouring in from across the globe, with fans, teammates, and colleagues expressing hope for her recovery.
