Anyone know of a walk around this to assist me please? I have been browsing the Internet and many don't work at all. I really need a fix for this any Elder with a solution?

Yes, this is the way to go if he has a Gmail account.
1. Create a Google account
2. Set the email account up in the iPhone
3. Backup WhatApp to Google Drive after linking the iPhone to the Gmail account
4. On Android, also associate the phone to that Gmail account
5. Do a fresh install of WhatApp on the Android
6. At first start, WhatApp will ask you if you want to restore a backup saved on Google Drive. Say YES.

You can back up to Google drive just like an android phone, then retrieve it after reinstalling

Bluetooth can work if there a back-up on the phone, but it could take a long time if the dt contains a lot of media and files, plus the iPhone and Android do not handle files consistently. Apple has bad habits!
