Not to sound elitist but most of these roadside businesses are eyesore. Most of them are built or erected during campaign year when politicians are seeking votes. They can promise anything so long as they are assured of being elected. Two years down the line when the politicians have eaten enough, they pass motions to demolish them (mostly mcas). They then come back to the peasant business owners weeping crocodile tears.
One thing however is to warn business owners to make sure they have a store elsewhere to keep expensive stock as this has been going on for years and it's not that it's supposed to stop overnight.
Businesses should always be in a controlled environment with county's offering lasting solutions either they build modern markets

Is there a railway line next? If yes, then KR wants to build a station, just like Umoja Mutindwa
Githurai railway station is already built and operational it’s on your way to Githurai Kimbo like 2kms from superhighway.
These markets were sometimes back demolished by Kabogo side ya Kiambu county lakini side ya Nairobi kidero left them.
Think after kabogo lost elections they came back again full swing on both sides.
