Too Outrageous to be True. But this is Kenya

The claim here, from the Journalist, is that the owners of the IT platform are receiving 25% of what SHA pays for each service offered. The commission would be outrageous even at 10% considering the volumes of people expected to use the platform.

Minute 29:
Interviewer -
"Who are the platform providers on SHA because I have seen documents from the Ministry of Health that indicate that for every amount that SHA will be paying for each procedure done or for each service offered, some amount will be heading or directed to a platform provider, I think 24- 25% or something like that. Who are these platform providers? "

The question of how much the platform providers are earning ought to be answered and should have been made public by now. This could be where the theft is happening.

Yes, in the official documents they call hkm vendor.

I understood vendor to mean the surgeon who did the procedure.
EdiT: Vendors can supply medical equipment, consumables, reagents, and maintenance to county public facilities through a Fee-for-Service Model. The Social Health Authority (SHA) establishes tariffs that distribute revenue generated from these services.

Can a future president revoke this thing and bring NHIF back?
