There's a lot to be said about the entire religious sector as it stands today. It is supposed to be the conscience of the society but it has been infiltrated by self-seekers who have the least shame in leeching their faithful (kondoo) white.

I had the same misgivings about religion, and I am ashamed to say it got to a point I inflated my hubris in the name of atheism. That was until I read a number of articles chief of which is in the elephant website about the irony of religion and Kenyan middle class, which draws parallels between Catholic/Monarchy, Protestants/Socialism and Evangelicals/Capitalism. It's a brilliant read.

There will always be hustlers in the art sector which is squarely where religion lands, doesn't mean you may not enjoy the fat lady singing right?
