As a Millenial the first phone I owned was after form 4, a Vodafone 845 (precursor to Ideos) running Android 2.1 Eclair. You could add infinite home screens and it had a resistive touch screen (ile inatumia pressure rather than your finger's electric charges).

Before that nilikuwa naomba simu kwa cuzo tu.

My first phone was a sony ericson, niliona james bond akiitumia kwa movie nikasema hio ndio simu. Hio ndio ilikua iphone ya hizo siku, the build quality was good and it had edge which was cutting edge (pun intended) technology back then.

My first phone and my current phone.
Number was 0722.
Sim card was 2,500 and calling was 30 bob per minute. Those days you dial someone and your thumb iko kwa hiyo button ya kukata simu.

My grandmother bado ako na hiyo nokia on the left. Iko kwa zile cover ziko na zip....phone is still brand new....bado inaweka moto for 5 days after charge...but ni cucu so hatumii sana but still impressive

Grandmothers are a crazy lot, gave my grandma a phone in 2009, visited her this year bado ako nayo, a decade with a motorolla C118
