I am in a dilemma, or what @Mwalimu-G would call a quandary or conundrum (learn, youngins, learn!)
My lower jaw denture has broken kapisa, thanks to a stupid effort at chewing sugar cane. I need a new one fitted and fixed.
Trouble is, this will mean being in proximity with a dental technologist and a dentist for a combined something like four hours (spread over several days). Yaani our faces will be a foot or less apart, and for obvous reasons I won't be a wearing a mask. My only protection will be their masks, but given they handle tens of patients a day, dentists and dental technologists are among the highest at risk health professionals of contracting corona, and transmitting it.

Lakini can you imagine me going toothless all of a sudden bana? Tu-slaykwins twangu sasa tutanitoroka, la zivo lazima niingie Torabora kama Osama juu wakiniona watanitema mbaya. Last December nilitoa the dentures a certain grandkid of mine saw it and took off like a bat from hell to the mother, traumatised for life.
"Meno-o-guka mpotea" he exlaimed behind her skirts, looking dazed and confused.
