Point is state of prisons cannot be used to gauge the bonoboness of a country. In the US prisons they have shanks, at Kamiti they don't go after each other with those. Should we celebrate?

Latin American jails are no joke. Many are privately owned by rich narcos. They are overcrowded and filled with rival gangs so inmates police themselves. Riots are common and brutal. Cannibalism and dismemberment of the enemy. The weapon of choice is the machete. Check out these two guys fighting like ancient gladiators. Makes Kamiti look like an approved school by comparison.
