President Jair Bolsonaro: Covid death toll todate - 18,000 and rising very fast. Cases confirmed - 280,000.
Let's take Bolsonaro's case. Two health ministers have risigned within the month because they disagree with him. Bolsenaro says Covid is just a 'little flu', tells Brazilians that there is no need to wear masks, wash hands or keep social distance. Like Trump, he says that all one needs to do is take chloroquine and he's good to go.
Now, Brazil has some of the largest and most crowded slums in the world, and there is growing evidence that the Covid epidemic there has achieved break-out velocity, with numbers rising exponentially despite the fact that testing is still inadequate. Some experts are saying that the number of infections could be anywhere between 1m and 2m, and people are dying in their homes. Burials are being done in mass graves (see below). And yet the president is still doing his shenanigans.
Surely if there was truly justice in this world these three idiots would face a firing squad..........................
