I know many of you think of me as an egocentric, navel-gazing, canterkerous old impotent fart.

You are right. I am that.

But I am also a considerate, witty, and loving person. My grandchildren believe I am the best, naughtiest bad-ass grandpa in the world.

It is in the latter spirit that I wish you all happy holidays, whether you observe Christmas or not.

Thanks for being my fellow travellers this past year on these streets, and for all the laughs you've given me.

I am presently in an Indian Ocean’s island with very poor internet connectivity which explains my absence for the last few days.

I have always harboured a secret desire to initiate a Class Action for the inhumane and degrading Slave Trade and the immense benefits that Mzungu and Mwarabu reaped from it.
I therefore started a methodological and serious research on how it was conducted and the cruelty that it involved.
Most important is that I would want to know the actual numbers involved and the net loss suffered by Africa - You must know the total loss or damage suffered to start a claim.

However, as you may very well know, Mzungu and Mwarabu have adamantly refused to pay any financial reparations for slavery apart from tokens ones like scholarships, removal of slave traders statues, apologies etc etc.
So, mine is a pipe dream, futile effort and an act of a rebel without a cause, at best.

Anyhow, this is where I am at the present moment.
Will be back shortly to enjoy a cold one with you Bae.
