This is Guka - BREAKING: Ngai, Niambieni ni Uongo, Jehova Jirre!

Usimwekelee mzungu makosa si yake. The short man is just too arrogant, he even mistreated doctors that were going against his narrative and refused to fund any response to deal with the virus. Afadhali hawa wetu hata wakiiba, but they are trying to contain it.
Alimvuta shiny eyes wa TZ a Nyambura somebody due to going against the official government position.

Kiuliso tu, hawa watu hawana hosi ya maana kwao?

@mzeiya,
This kind of chest-thumping boast and arrogance by Kenyans is our Achilles heels and our biggest undoing. It hinders us from doing better and advancing in the false comfort that we are better than everybody else.

I am reliably told that in the 70s Kenya was like fifty times more developed than any of our neighbours. However due to this arrogance and corruption, we are at par nowadays. We sat on our laurels and gave ourselves false hopes that we were the best and would always be. We abandoned improvement and the rot started in earnest.

I am sure were it not for the dire situation in South Africa occasioned by COVID, Magfool would not have stepped into vumbistan hata na dawa. Let us not keep deluding ourselves and over-exaggerating our importance in the world.

We are not at par, yet. But if we continue on the same trajectory we are headed we'll soon be behind.
My biggest worry today is the kind of thinking, or rather, nonthinking, that I see around that is bound to tip the country over the edge and onto the incline that will see us hurtle too fast into the abyss.
This country needs a saviour and it is definitely not the one being touted by a large number of folks around here.

There is no chest-thumping in what that guy has written. Even then, the situation Magufool finds himself in has little to do with Kenya but his lack of foresight, just like Nkurunziza. And it has nothing to do with how Kenya was in the 70's.

"Magufuli has a history of heart issues, according to a senior Tanzanian medic close to the government who asked not to be identified, and a private security official in Kenya with extensive official contacts in Tanzania." - writes Reuters. Rip makful
