Data from the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) indicates that the Thika Superhighway is the most dangerous road in Nairobi.
From January 1, to April 30, 2024 the road has recorded 13 deaths, as a result of road crashes.
The road is followed closely by Mombasa, Outering and Kangundo roads which recorded at least 12 deaths each.

Waiyaki Way accounted for 10 deaths in the same duration, while Eastern Bypass, Juja Road, Ngong Road and Northern Bypass recorded seven each.
