Pangani OCS hit by motorcycle at curfew roadblock
Chief Inspector Yunus sustained head injuries after being struck by motorcycle.
Pangani OCS also got run over by a motorcyclist and had to be hospitalised

KASARANI POLICE STATION
INJURY/ACCIDENT TO POLICE OFFICERS: Refers my OB No. 3 dated 20/04/2021. It occurred on 19/04/2021 at around 2236 hours along Thika road within G.S.U Drift Area where a police Roadblock was erected. It was reported by SOB1 kasarani ci Maurine jepkemboi kutto while they were manning Roadblock a speeding motor vehicle Reg. No. KCT 179T Mitsubishi FH lorry which was from Thika general direction to Nairobi it was driven by driver Elias Mwaniki with other two occupants Fancy and Martin. The said Mitsubishi FH lorry hit police motor vehicle GKB 384T Isuzu Canter NPR, which was static and parked at the side of the road. As a result of the accident the following officers sustained injuries
1). No. 74690 PC Joseph Kiminda had skull and right hand fractures
2). No.81312 cpl Geoffrey Sigolia sustained left leg injury
The officers were rushed to Nairobi West Hospital where they being treated where pc Joseph Kiminda in serious condition and corporal Geoffrey Sigolia in fair condition. More information to follow
