The Turkana Channel

This is a channel that funnels moisture-laden air from the ocean directly into the interior of the African continent. It has created semi-arid climatic conditions in the regions it transverses, while delivering moisture and rain into the continent's interior. The Turkana windpower project takes advantage of the resulting strong wind to generate power. Without this channel, the Northern part of the country would have a tropical climate since the moisture would turn to rain above the region. Any suggestions from the black templar?
