The stupidity of kondoo

The law is already there to address this kind of crime.
All the Court has to do is find that the Pastor was in a Fiduciary Relationship with the Lady.
A Fiduciary Relationship is where one party is placed in a position of trust and confidence to another and is expected to act on their behalf and interest.

A Fiduciary is expected to act in good faith and must not make a profit out of his trust. He must never place himself where his duties to the Principal and his personal interests conflict.
A Fiduciary must never act for his own benefit or benefit of a third party without the express permission of his Principal.

As a Trustee, a Fiduciary may be financially liable for any loss incurred by the trust and if they have stolen money or committed fraud, they could face criminal charges.

Thanks for that very clear clarification. I don't understand why people are not prosecuted for Ponzi schemes in Kenya. Ekeza, Urithi, Cytonn, DECI etc.

Let me surprise you this late in the evening @bigDog.
When people get defrauded they like telling the tale to anybody who can listen till kingdom come.
When their first port of call should be to the Police and the Courts, they rush to Broadcasters who, for pretty obvious reasons, like a good story, and stop at that.

You will be overwhelmed to know that less than 10% of these incidences ever get into an OB.
It follows, just like night comes after day, that the perpetrators know this and continue to set up more ponzi schemes undettered.

Any wonder Government is always like “sasa mnataka nifanye nini?
